She is a highly experienced Chartered Physiotherapist who has gained extensive experience working in both the NHS and private sector since qualifying.

As a paediatric physiotherapist, Jenny has a special interest in the treatment of children and having developed her specialist skills and knowledge in the areas of paediatrics, is able to offer a high standard of care.

Jenny is an accredited Bobath Therapist. She has attended the eight-week Bobath Course and the one-week advanced course. This is a treatment approach, also known as Neurodevelopmental Therapy and is beneficial for children with neurological problems such as Cerebral Palsy.

As a Bobath trained therapist Jenny believes strongly in early intervention which is vital for achieving a child’s full potential. Also, by starting treatment early, postural problems can be minimized and sometimes prevented from developing.

Jenny has had over 14 years of experience working with children with complex needs and has also attended many courses in this field, including 24-hour postural management for hips and spines. She has a specialist knowledge in biomechanics and the application of orthotics and has attended many courses on this subject, including ‘Gait analysis and the use of AFO’s for Children with Cerebral Palsy'.

As a mother of 3, Jenny has had first hand experience of bringing up children. She believes this opportunity, combined with her working experience and excellent knowledge of paediatrics, enhances her ability to work with children and their families.
